Early Afternoon Group Arrives to Resort Welcome to Barnsley Resort! Relax, refresh and explore. Enjoy some free time in your room or spend some time strolling the resort grounds. 6:15 PM Barnsley Resort Wine Label Tasting in Queen’s Suite with Okan
7:15 PM Dinner at Woodlands Grill Be prepared to enjoy craft cocktails and elevated Southern fare at Woodlands Grill. Whether you're craving a hearty charbroiled burger, scalloped risotto or buttermilk fried chicken, Woodlands Grill has you covered.
Post Dinner S'mores at Outdoor Fire Pit It's been a wonderful first day. We'll cap it off with a sweet treat and cozy up at a fire pit along the Village Green.
Friday, October 25 8:45 AM Breakfast at Woodlands Grill It's time to fuel up for the day with a flavorful breakfast at Woodlands Grill. The griddle indulgence and house-cured Atlantic salmon are not to be missed. Come dressed to flow straight into horseback riding.
10:00 AM Horseback Ride (Group 1) Discover Barnsley Resort’s natural beauty and fascinating history with a guided horseback ride led by an experienced trail guide.
11:30 PM Horseback Ride (Group 2)
At Leisure Lunch at Beer Garden Pop-Up Kick back and relax in the outdoor Beer Garden Pop-Up. A robust selection of regional craft brews are paired with a casual menu of barbeque favorites, wings and pizza to enjoy al fresco.
2:00 PM Bourbon Infusion Tasting Experience featuring Peg Leg Porker Join celebrated Pit Master Carey Bringle for storytelling and tasting of his own signature Peg Leg Porker Tennessee Straight Bourbon Whiskey.
3:00 PM Guided History Tour & Wine Tasting Meet in the Inn Lobby for one of the resort's newest activities, which involves a bit of history and wine. We'll partake in an interactive tour of the Manor House Ruins, museum and historic gardens and learn about the fascinating and sometimes tragic tales of Godfrey and Julia Barnsley’s love story, along with interesting facts about their descendants. A knowledgeable expert will lead us on this engaging tour of the resort’s historic district, ending the tour with a cheese and wine tasting featuring wine from Blue Rock Vineyard.
7:15 PM Dinner at Rice House Get your taste buds ready for an elevated dining experience at the Rice House, a 19th century farmhouse turned restaurant. Enjoy a chef-curated Southern-inspired menu sourced locally!

At Leisure Breakfast at the Beer Garden Pop-Up Wake up early, or hit the snooze button - whichever floats your boat. Head to Beer Garden Pop-Up at leisure to grab a bite whenever you fancy.
10:00 AM Intro to Sporting Clays Ready, aim, pull! We'll learn how to bring down flying clays at the Beretta Shooting Grounds by High Adventure Company. Professional instructors will walk us through a safety demo and then help guide us to hit the target. We'll start it off at the five-stand, then take a quick ride around to see the brand new Helice course and a brief UTV Tour of the sporting grounds. Be sure to wear closed-toed shoes.
12:30 PM Lunch at Woodlands Grill Veranda Indulge in another scrumptious meal at Woodlands Grill overlooking the Jim Fazio golf course.
2:40 PM XXX - Check-in For Chai Box Spa Appointments (starts at 3:00 PM) The resort has recently partnered with Atlanta-based The Chai Box, which was named one of Oprah's favorite things, to create a custom Barnsley Blend of tea. The blend has numerous health benefits, of which you'll enjoy during the new 'Barnsley Tea-LC' body treatment. It begins with an invigorating sugar scrub, followed by a firming tea-laced masque. A hot “tea-towel” foot massage and a creamy tea-infused body butter wrap up the experience, leaving you relaxed and glowingly healthy.

6:00 PM Swine & Wine Barbeque Dinner at Manor House Ruins & Pavilion We’re going whole hog (literally) for the signature event of Swine & Wine! Renowned Pitmaster Carey Bringle of Nashville’s Peg Leg Porker prepares a whole pig from snout-to-tail. Elevated side dishes complement the barbeque while a salad and dessert complete this experience. Enjoy wine pairings from featured winery, The Prisoner Wine Company, all set against the backdrop of the iconic Manor House Ruins for this open-air, covered event. Live music, games and flames dancing from Sea Island Forge fire kettles create a fun and social ambiance for this special Supper Club event.
