Afternoon 2:30/3 PM Group Arrives to Resort Welcome to Barnsley Resort! Enjoy some free time in the Godfrey cottage or enjoy a stroll around the grounds. You are among some of the first to stay in these newly renovated cottages, which received a top-to-bottom redesign by Charlotte Lucas Design. The other 2024 renovation projects include the introduction of six pickleball courts, newly built Biergarten and enhancements at the Beretta Shooting Grounds. We'll get an up-close look at all of these additions throughout our stay. 6:00 PM Private Bourbon & Old Fashioned Tasting Experience We'll kick the trip off with the resort's signature bourbon ritual, a tasting of its one-of-a-kind pecan-infused bourbon and a specialty smoked Old Fashioned. Please meet in the lobby of the Inn.
7:00 PM Dinner at Woodlands Be prepared to enjoy craft cocktails and elevated Southern fare at Woodlands. Whether you're craving a hearty charbroiled burger or buttermilk fried chicken, Woodlands has you covered.

3:00 PM Pickleball Lesson Time to get sporty! You will be among the very first to break in the new pickleball courts, which are just one part of the many upgrades included in the 2024 renovations. With the help of one of our instructors, get ready to be a pro in no time.
5:45 PM Holiday Garden Stroll & Dinner at Georgian Hall Let the magic continue as we head through the holiday light-filled gardens to the historic Manor House Ruins. This fascinating resort centerpiece was originally built in 1840's by Godfrey Barnsley for his wife, Julia, who unfortunately fell ill and passed away before it was completed. However, his love for her lived on and pushed Barnsley to complete construction. Today, the remarkable ruins serve as an extension of the resort doubling as unique event space for dining and taking in the enchanting views of the majestic gardens at every corner - much like we'll be doing tonight! After our stroll, we'll head to neighboring Georgian Hall for a special dining experience.
Friday, December 6

Professional instructors will walk us through a safety demo and then help guide us to hit the target. We'll start it off at the five-stand, then take a quick ride around to see the brand-new Helice course. Be sure to wear closed-toed shoes.
12:00 PM Lunch at Biergarten Kick back and relax at the brand-new Biergarten, where we'll get a first taste of some incredible dishes. Nestled in the heart of the resort village, the new dining concept beckons with regional, German and European brews and traditional classics, such as homemade hot pretzels, bratwurst, and German-inspired salads and sandwiches. It's always a good "stein" at the Biergarten!
1:45 PM Gabi, Jan and Brandon - Check-in at The Spa (starts at 2:00 PM) The resort recently partnered with Atlanta-based The Chai Box, previously named one of Oprah's favorite things, to create a custom Barnsley Blend of tea and 'Barnsley Tea-LC' body treatment. It begins with an invigorating sugar scrub, followed by a firming tea-laced masque. A hot “tea-towel” foot massage and a creamy tea-infused body butter wrap up the experience, leaving you relaxed and glowingly healthy.
